We have uploaded photos to our 2022 Race Gallery. Unfortunately, our race photographer didn’t make it out on race day, so we are relying on people who attended the event to provide us with any photos they took and are willing to share. If you have any photos from the event that you would let us display in this gallery, please email them to jointhelionstoday@gmail.com. And if you post any of your photos to social media, please include the hashtag #sfvlionsrunforhope to your post. Thanks!

Race Results Online!
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Lions Run For Hope 5K this morning. The race results are available online. You can either click on the 2022 Race Results link under the Race Results menu item, or just click this link here.
Our race photographer wasn’t able to make it, so if you have any photos that you would like to share send an email to jointhelionstoday@gmail.com.
Tomorrow Is The Big Day!
Tomorrow is the big day! Looks like it should be a beautiful day for a run/walk. Temps look to be around 61 degrees, so you may need an extra layer if you tend to get chilly. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our race sponsors who have helped make this year’s race in our new location possible. If you have not registered yet, you can register in the morning before the race, so come on out and join us.
Results and photos will eventually be posted to the race website www.lionsrunforhope.org
16 days until race time!
According to our handy countdown clock, we are about 16 days away from our signature event, the Lions Run for Hope 5K. Because this is a new location for the event I wanted to let everyone know that parking will not be an issue. There is a large parking lot on the north side of 34th Street across from the Cicero Community Park. So, sign up today and come out for a great event at a great new location.
Looking for 2022 Event Sponsors
If you, your friend, your employer, or any business you might frequent would like to participate as a sponsor, please refer them to our Event Sponsors page. Or have them email Lion Dan at jointhelionstoday@gmail.com.
We have four levels of sponsorship available.
The Run for Hope 5K is Moving to Cicero!
We have received confirmation that the Town of Cicero will be the new home of the Stickney-Forest View Lions Club “Run for Hope” 5K. We are now looking for sponsors to help us make this new race a huge success. The new route will start and finish near the Cicero Community Park at 34th and Laramie. It will be a single loop route along Laramie, Pershing, Central, and 31st. We hope to see you there!
Thank You, Stickney Residents!
Thank you, Stickney residents, for eight fantastic years of races. As of this time, it looks like we will have to find a new home for our Run for Hope 5K. In the eight years you hosted us, you helped us raise over $100,000 which we donated to breast cancer awareness organizations in the fight against breast cancer. When we have found a new location to hold our race, we will announce it here and on our social media pages. In the meantime, thank you again for your generosity and enthusiasm in cheering us on and joining us in running and walking.

Putting on an event like this would not be possible without the support of our sponsors. We would like to thank all our 2021 race sponsors and ask you to thank and support them, as well.
